Following the success of last year's A Chorus Line, Footlights are back with the much loved six-time Tony award-winner Thoroughly Modern Millie.
Set in New York in 1922, the show follows the story of feisty, small town girl Millie Dillmount and her move to the Big Apple in her thoroughly modern pursuit of marrying for money and not for love. However, her adventures soon lead her into trouble when she finds herself stalled by the charming but broke Jimmy Smith and in the centre of a white slavery ring.
Featuring the songs Gimme, Gimme, Jimmy and Thoroughly Modern Millie, why not bob your hair and raise your skirts for a night of adventure, glamour and true love in the big city.
This amateur production is presented by arrangement with JOSEF WEINBERGER LTD on behalf of MUSIC INTERNATIONAL of NEW YORK.
