Wet weather policy for Romeo & Juliet at Rougemont Gardens
WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS?Because Romeo & Juliet is an energetic, physical performance, the production team must take extra care to ensure the safety of the cast, particularly during the acrobatic fight scenes. Therefore, if the stage becomes slippery due to persistent heavy rain, it may be necessary to cancel or delay a performance.
If this happens, we are happy to exchange tickets for an alternative performance of your choice (subject to ticket availability).
WHAT SHOULD I DO IF IT IS RAINING IN THE AFTERNOON BEFORE A PERFORMANCE?
Please come to the site as planned. Any decision to cancel a performance will be taken at the last minute. Whenever possible the show will go ahead, including during light to moderate rainfall, so please dress accordingly! If we do have to cancel a show, we'll give you a letter with instructions for how to swap your tickets for another performance.
WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS DURING A PERFORMANCE?
If the rain is heavy, the performance will be paused while we assess the situation. Wherever possible, we will attempt to finish the performance on the same evening. If we can't restart, we'll give you a letter so you can swap your tickets and come and see the
entire show at another time.
Tickets can be exchanged in person or by calling the box office on 01392 493 493.
